Since 2021, Alabama Values has set out on a journey to capture the fight for voting rights and fair maps across the South. The People’s Voice took the fight for fair maps to the Supreme Court. This documentary will follow along as advocates, policymakers, and community members fight for fair maps in Alabama, Louisiana, and North Carolina. The South Got Something To Say! The film will amplify the voices of underrepresented communities impacted by unfair mapping practices and highlight the individuals and organizations working to fight for fair maps and voting rights.
